The Human Toolbox™ Programme

Simply knowing more about your Human Tools – your mind-body connection - is often enough to start the process of positive change, and ensure you stay safe, happy and balanced, both mentally and physically. You will feel more resourced and in control, and so able to move on from negative thoughts, feelings of failure, anxiety, depression, irrational behaviour, low confidence, procrastination and so much more. 

This 8 week self-discovery programme is so simple and yet fundamentally life changing! It will help you to understand how you think, feel and respond to life’s experiences, and give you the tools you need to help you, or help you to help others maintain a healthy balance for a fulfilling life. By the end of all modules you will understand so much more about yourself as a physical and emotional human being, and have proven tools to help you remain calm, focused, balanced, and able to avoid overload when life gets stressful! 

By working with me, whether one-to-one or in a small group or workshop setting, you’ll not only get the insight and self-learning from this incredible ‘psycho-educational’ programme, but the added benefit of personal counselling and coaching support for eight weeks to help you work through your own particular challenges, confidentially and without judgement.  For most people this is enough, but support can be extended on a one-to-one basis afterwards if you need.

The Sessions

Sessions last for 1 hour, during which you will be guided through each of the modules, whilst taking the time to reflect and explore your own health and wellbeing: your emotions, thoughts and feelings and the essentials for a healthy mind and body.  You'll be gently supported to connect with your inner resources to improve and maintain emotional balance and get you feeling energised, so as to be better able to cope with difficult times in life. There will be supporting activities and resources each week to help you understand and apply the learning to your own experiences, and fully familiarise yourself with your personal set of Human Tools. The modules you will cover are:

Week 1 – The Introduction: Your Story & What Humans Do
Week 2 – The Control Tool: Understanding Your Amazing Brain
Week 3 – The Input Tools: Your Incredible Sensory System, Gut and Heart
Week 4 – The Back-up Tool: Understanding the Stress Response 
Week 5 – The Release Tools: How to Relieve Stress and Anxiety 
Week 6 – The Fuel Tools: Keeping Energised and Motivated
Week 7 – The Connect Tools: Creating Happy, Healthy Relationships
Week 8 – Putting It All Together
